Announced in 2010, Ryland homes has announced the opening of a new residential gated section within Gleannloch Farms. The new section, Northlake, consists of 33 acres located to the west/northwest of Frank Elementary School, adjacent and east of Champion Forest Drive. In addition, the section will be gated with masonry perimeter walls and feature 19 lake lots backing to the 14-acre lake that is already a part of the property. Typical lot sizes will be 75' and 80' wide with depths of 120', with many oversized home sites available as well. Developement activity is expected to commence within the next 45 days and look for an early spring 2011 opening. Floor plans range from about 3,000 sq. ft to 4,600. The tax base is currently 2.90/per $100 of value for homes in MUD #367 and 3.11 for MUD #383. Gleannloch Farms does offer a gated section for which the annual dues are $1,625/year. An on-site management company, AMI, currently holds a contract for day-to-day operations throughout Gleannloch Farms and offices are located near the equestrian center.The three taxing authorities are Klein ISD, Harris county and the water district MUD #367 or #383. Acclaimed Klein Independent School District with two elementary schools within Gleannloch Farms. Hassler elementary,exemplary and blue ribbon status, and newly constructed in 2007, Frank Elementary which affords every student a lap-top computer. Doerre and Krimmel are the intermediate levels and Klein Oak High School rounds the school offerings. Many private and parochial schools are also in the surrounding area.
